Petrified wood

Anyone concerned with exceptional stones knows well enough not to overlook the magnificent forms and aesthetics of petrified wood. In a range of venues throughout the world; among them Brazil, Australia, the United States, and Argentina, ancient trees were submerged by volcanic ash and thus transformed into genuine rock formations. Unfortunately most deposits associated with this particular process have given rise to petrified wood of very small dimensions, or larger pieces sadly characterised by less than agreeable colour patterns. It's especially rare therefore to discover magnificent sections which combine both size and strong, attractive colours. Not surprisingly it is precisely this type of specimen that our company specialise in selecting. It demands a constant world-wide quest in order to satisfy our demanding clientele.
